The Laboratory of Quantitative Methods and Information Systems (QMIT) serves educational and research needs in the fields of statistics, econometrics, computational methods and information systems.
The fields of Economics in which the Laboratory is actively involved include:
  • Theoretical and Applied Econometrics
  • Theoretical and Applied Statistics
  • Models of Distribution Mixes
  • Applications of the EM Algorithm
  • Multivariate Analysis
  • Stochastic Analysis
  • Computational methods
  • Information Systems and the World Wide Web
