Postgraduate Program
The purpose of the program is:
- to promote the theoretical and applied knowledge in Economics at the highest level,
- to promote research excellence in Economics,
- to develop scientists capable of pursuing doctoral studies in the relevant scientific fields,
- to create executives with a strong background in modern Applied Economics and Data Analysis, who are able to meet the challenges of the modern economic environment,
- to enhance candidates’ ability to start their own business or pursue a career in management positions at leading companies and organizations in the private or public sector,
- to develop leadership, communication, as well as, other important transferable skills,
- to enhance the candidates’ familiarity with the use of modern technologies and capabilities to deal with real financial situations in their future careers.
The duration of the MSc programme is set at two (2) semesters (i.e. 12 months). The total number of credits (ECTS) that are required to obtain the master’s degree is sixty (60). Students are required to complete 3 core units, 3 optional units, as well as, a research project (dissertation).
